Who We Are

Supporting Children Through Stability, Not Strategy

Children’s behaviour is often misunderstood.

Big emotions. Resistance. Transitions. Sensory overwhelm. These moments are often approached as behaviours to correct.

But more often, they are signals. Signals of fatigue. Overstimulation. Unclear expectations. Environmental pressure.

InterMontessori Parent Learning supports families in understanding how daily environments, routines, and adult responses influence children’s regulation and behaviour.

A Different Approach to Behaviour

Rather than focusing on discipline strategies, this approach focuses on:

  • predictability in daily routines

  • calm and consistent adult responses

  • reducing environmental overwhelm

  • supporting co-regulation

  • creating conditions where children feel secure

This allows children to develop regulation gradually, within supportive relationships.

Common Areas of Support

Parents often seek support with:

  • transitions (morning, bedtime, leaving activities)

  • emotional outbursts

  • sibling conflict

  • difficulty listening

  • overstimulation and fatigue

  • separation and attachment challenges

These experiences are common and often reflect environmental and developmental conditions, not simply behaviour.
